NDI IGBO ARE PARTNERS IN PROGRESS, DON'T UNLEASH THUGS ON THEM

Ndi Igbo Are Partners In Progress, Don't Unleash Thugs On Them Everyone has right to peaceful coexistence, the basic personal freedoms, the alleviation of suffering , and the opportunity to lead a productive life. - Jimmy Carter.  I wrote a piece on March 17, 2023 titled: "Politics, Thuggery and Nigerian Politicians: Where Do We Go From Here?" I wrote the article after watching a viral video on social media - where thugs from a political party attacked another political party during their campaign rally. The write-up was widely read. In that piece, I argued that leadership is earned and not forced, and that politics is about performance and genuine influence. Any politician who has not done well for his people will resort to promotion of violence and manipulations. This is the problem we have in Nigeria. The viral video by a leader of NURTW that Igbos should sit at home on Guber and House of Assembly elections - if they won't vote for the ruling party is ...

PETER OBI - THE PATHFINDER. FOR LONG, WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A PATHWAY TO ACHIEVE A POLITICAL FREEDOM BUT WE MADE NO BREAKTHROUGH

PETER OBI - THE PATHFINDER. For long, we have been looking for a pathway to achieve a political freedom but we made no breakthrough. Suddenly, Peter Obi showed up and he became the pathfinder.  His type of politics is hinged on honesty, credibility and capacity. The status quo underrated him but on the 25th of February, he rattled them from East to West and to the North. Suddenly, he became a political colossus simply because he won the hearts of the youths with messages of hope. He has the capacity to change the society with good messages of hope and admonition to do the right thing. He is not a pastor but his words are more powerful than that of numerous pastors and imams. With his influence, a movement that started barely 8 months ago now has six senators-electe and 70 house of representatives members. This is unimaginable. We all know that he won the presidential poll convincingly but the political demons in Nigeria stole his mandate which he has promised to challen...

UPDATE ON WHAT TRANSPIRED AT THE ABIA STATE GOVERNORSHIP RESULTS COLLATION CENTRE

UPDATE ON WHAT TRANSPIRED AT THE ABIA STATE GOVERNORSHIP RESULTS COLLATION CENTRE The INEC Presiding Officer In Abia State had this to say:  ” I’m Professor Nnenna Oti from Afikpo, I am the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, The people’s mandate shall stand. She also said : “I have spent all my adult life in pursuit of the ideals of good governance. We shall stand by the these principles. ”The pastor in me (she is a Pastor with the RCCG) and the mother in me will not permit me to do anything that will adversely affect the future of our children. I shall do right by God and by man!” Then to the shock and surprise of everyone in the hall, she said that the INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu, personally called her and gave her directives on guidelines to follow in ensuring that Abia governorship election results were collated based on some criteria but that on her own she has decided that the will of Abia voters would not be subverted under her watch...

PETER OBI HAD SET THE EXAMPLE THAT POLITICS. He SHOWED NIGERIANS AND POLITICIANS THAT POLITICS SHOULD BE ABOUT PEOPLE'S CHOICE WITHOUT THE INFLUENCE OF MONEY.

Peter Obi had set the example that politics is not about "make them poor " and then feed them corns during elections to buy their conscience. He showed Nigerians and politicians that politics should be about people's choice without the influence of money. Ever since Chimaroke lost his reelection bid as a senator representing his people at National Assembly, he has lost emotional control. He is criticizing everybody including Peter Obi and Ohanaeze Ndigbo. Somebody should help me tell him that Ohanaeze Ndigbo didn't voted him out. His constituents did and if he has been representing them well, he wouldn't have lost the election to a new comer, the Labor Party senatorial candidate. His defeat in this election shows that he has been winning the senatorial election through rigging. Now that INEC has decided to do the right thing for once in Enugu state, he lost woefully.  As for me, the only gift federal government of Nigeria must not deny the whole Southe...

WHO BUILT THE CITIES? EACH TIME I TRAVEL TO East, I USUALLY DON'T HAVE THAT HOPE OF MEETING pe6ople FROM DIFFERENT PLACES UNLIKE Lagos WHERE I CAN MEET PEOPLE WHO MIGRATED TO NIGERIA FROM BERMUDA. This is actually what made Lagos a fun place.

WHO BUILT THE CITIES? Each time I travel to East, I usually don't have that hope of meeting people from different places unlike Lagos where I can meet someone whom migrated to Nigeria from Bermuda. This is actually what made Lagos a fun place.  80% of people I meets in Onitsha, Aba, Owerri and Enugu are all Igbo people. This is what made Igboland very competitive. It is not a place you can start one particular business and have monopoly over it because you are likely to have a competitor within two weeks of starting the business. If you are not careful, your competitors will chase you out of the business. So you must remain extra creative if you want to remain in the business. Severe business competition in Igboland is what makes many of our people to migrate to various parts of Nigeria where they will establish and dominate the area businesswise for years before other Igbo men would discover that place. When I look at some non Igbo people criticizing Southeast for been...

LAGOS: THE MAJORITY OF THOSE WHO OWN THOSE FASCINATING BUILDINGS IN THAT ESTATE AND ENTIRE AMUWO ODOFIN ARE IGBO PEOPLE

IGBO PEOPLE: BE WISE AS SERPENTS! A child of a Yoruba man born and brought up in Agege area of Lagos had an opportunity to attend an event in an estate in Amuwo Odofin for the first time. He discovered that the majority of those who owns those fascinating buildings in that estate and entire Amuwo Odofin are Igbo people. When he came back to Agege , he wondered how the visitors ( Igbo people) should be living in such a better condition in his own father's land ( Lagos) while himself lives in poverty. Since then, he got jealous over Igbo people including every non Yoruba person living in his father's face-me-I-face-you in Agege. In another development, Ekene sold everything in his shop in Onitsha in 2014 and travelled to Cambodia. He hustled and hustled and finally God blessed him. In 2018, he contacted his sister living in Lagos and told her about his plan to buy a house in Onitsha. His sister discouraged him and convinced him to buy the house in Lagos where he could...

THE BATTLE, THE OBI-DIENT MOVEMENT IS FIGHTING IS NOT LIMITED TO ANY PARTICULAR SECTION OF THIS COUNTRY.

THE BATTLES ARE STILL ONGOING! DON'T GROW WEARY. The battle, the Obi-dient movement is fighting is not limited to any particular section of this country. We are not fighting to dethrone the godfatherism in Lagos while leaving the one in Enugu or in Plateau. We are fighting to liberate all sections of Nigeria from bad leadership.  We can't be angry with APC chieftains in Lagos that stirs up tribal sentiments during each election year and then be happy with Anambra state government that said he won't work with any other Lawmaker in Anambra state house of assembly other than APGA house members. A governor that made such a divisive statement is not different from APC chieftains in Lagos making same divisive statements. Obi-dients must unite to take back their country. As we plans to oust a Government that has empowers Agberos to be tormenting her citizens in Lagos, we must also use same energy to vote out Government that has empowered Agberos in Aba and Onitsha. Fai...

YEARS AGO, THERE WERE ONLY THREE KINDS OF PEOPLE WE RESPECT SO MUCH. THEY ARE ; THE MILITARY, THE JUDGES AND THE PROFESSORS

THE PROFESSORS... Years ago, there were only three kinds of people we respect so much. They are ; The military, the Judges and the professors. We see these sets of people as people that can't do wrong. When we are oppressed or in trouble, we runs to them and are saved . The military : back in the days, we rarely see Nigerian soldiers in the streets anyhow. I was among the children that usually come out to have a glimpse of our soldiers if anything made them to be out of the barracks. We admires their heights, the body build up and their stan looking faces. We hails and waved at them as they nod and drove past us. They don't discriminate while handling issues among the civilian populace. When they come to keep peace in a troubled town, no one dares to attack them unlike now they can easily be attacked even kidnapped by militants. What then happened to the old military ways of life that we admired so much?  The Judges : in the other hands, judges are seen as God'...

EARLIER TODAY, I HAD AN INTERACTIVE MEETING WITH MEMBERS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (EU) OBSERVER MISSION, PETER OBI

Earlier today, I had an interactive meeting with members of the European Union (EU) Observer Mission, Peter Obi On 25th February 2023, Nigerians trooped out en-masse to participate in what was promised and expected to be a free, fair and transparent Presidential and National Assembly elections. But in all things, we are enjoined to give thanks. First to Almighty God for the privilege of making Datti Baba-Ahmed and I, the tools to champion the cause of a New Nigeria that will fundamentally enhance the fortunes of our dear country. Let me also appreciate and thank all Nigerians that participated in our last election especially those who believed and tirelessly worked for a New Nigeria and voted for us. My profound thanks go to the youths, ‘Obidients’ and support groups for your commitment and resilience for a better Nigeria. You truly showed that you can take back your country! We continue to pray for the repose of the souls of all Nigerians killed during the campaigns and fo...

HOW TO DEVELOP A STRONG PERSONALITY: TALK LESS BUT EFFECTIVE. WHEN YOUR MIND IS QUIET, YOU ARE MORE OBSERVANT, MORE PERCEPTIVE, AND ABLE TO THINK MORE CLEARLY.

How to Develop a Strong Personality.  1 Talk less but effective. When your mind is quiet, you are more observant, more perceptive, and able to think more clearly. When you are not concerned about speaking, your focus and attention will be on listening. You will hear things and gain insights that you might not even have anticipated. Then talk only when it is necessary to highlight the gained insights.   2 Do not say anything that is not supported by right logic. Using logic to support your points makes you sound more convincing and with power. It helps you to make sense of your points, provide points that can support good decisions, solve problems, and generate creative ideas, which are necessary for developing strong personality. 3 Always make eye contact while talking to another person. You should maintain eye contact for 50 percent of the time while speaking and 70% of the time while listening. This helps to display interest and confidence. Once you establish eye...

FR. EDEH IS A SILENT ACHEIVER. MAY GOD BLESS US MORE

Fr. Edeh is a silent acheiver. May God bless us more Sometimes I become confused of our faith in Catholic church, we were told that Catholic Priest posses 3 cardinal virtues which includes perpetual poverty and that all they have belongs to the church. My question is why this rating? If all he has is church's, then we should be talking of wealth of church not of a priest. Or was this post published just to credit him or to discredit someone else, if so, the originator of the post and those trying to silence this mouth piece. Meet Rev. Fr. Edeh, the richest catholic priest in the world with the net-worth of $90 million. And one of the richest man from Enugu state. Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ede is one of the powerful and influential Reverend Fathers in Nigeria and in the world. He began Catholic Prayer Ministry of the Holy Spirit, Elele, Rivers State long before. His Ministry at Elele span over 4 decades and still standing till today. He has contributed so much to humanity but y...
