PETER OBI - THE PATHFINDER.

For long, we have been looking for a pathway to achieve a political freedom but we made no breakthrough. Suddenly, Peter Obi showed up and he became the pathfinder. 

His type of politics is hinged on honesty, credibility and capacity. The status quo underrated him but on the 25th of February, he rattled them from East to West and to the North. Suddenly, he became a political colossus simply because he won the hearts of the youths with messages of hope.

He has the capacity to change the society with good messages of hope and admonition to do the right thing. He is not a pastor but his words are more powerful than that of numerous pastors and imams.

With his influence, a movement that started barely 8 months ago now has six senators-electe and 70 house of representatives members. This is unimaginable. We all know that he won the presidential poll convincingly but the political demons in Nigeria stole his mandate which he has promised to challenge in the law court.

He has also shown the Igbos that SECESSION is not the answer to the problem of Igbo people in Nigeria. He has shown us that instead of fighting for secession, we should fight for INCLUSION into the Nigerian leadership roundtable where we will join hands with other Nigerians to build a country we all will be proud of.

Igbo has fought for secession for over 50yrs but all we could achieve in the struggle are deaths and destruction of Igboland. Other Nigerians denied us of their support because they know that they needed Igbo people to remain in Nigeria because we are nation builders. But just within eight months we fought for INCLUSION into Nigeria's political roundtable through Labor Party with Peter Obi as our leader, we broke record. Millions of Nigerians supported us because they saw that we are fighting for INCLUSION and not for SECESSION. They know that when Igbo people are INCLUSIVELY added into the Nigerian political roundtable, other oppressed tribes in various regions of Nigerians are automatically added into the Nigerian leadership roundtable.

To the surprise of the status quo, an Igbo man polled over 1.2million votes in plateau state. An Igbo man polled over 500,000 votes in Kaduna state. An Igbo man cleared Edo, Delta, Lagos, Abuja and still got sizable votes in many northern states according to the data released by INEC of which we are very sure that Peter Obi's votes were deliberately reduced to make it look as if he is not loved in far North.

Henceforth, I am regarding him as MY LEADER. I will follow his footsteps. The post I made area that I am not gonna vote again in Nigeria except if it is via electronic voting will be reconsidered because of Peter Obi and all those contesting for various political offices in Labor Party. After listening to his world press conference this afternoon, I got encouraged to forge ahead. I will participate in subsequent elections because we needs to start building political structures in both National and state levels. Even if they rigs the elections, our Labor Party candidates shall gather their evidences and go to court.

I urge all Igbo people to join Labor Party because millions of Nigerians from other regions has chosen this party and Peter Obi as the leader of the party. It is a national party already. We have broken away from the bondage of PDP and APC. Labor Party is the new bride now . What APGA can not do in 15yrs, Labor Party has done it in less than one year.

Please I know that many of us are still hurt and are some are breaking and burning their PVCs. But what if court orders for a rerun of this election with a mandatory use of BIVAS machine to transmit results from polling unit to INEC server? What will you use to vote Peter Obi? It is not a wise thing to break your PVC. Our leader Mr Peter Obi has promised us that he will challenge the outcome of this election in a law court. By God's grace, he shall recover his mandate. But even if he didn't, we will join him to build Labor Party to an enviable high and make it a party for politicians with integrity and then we try again in the next four years.
