An illegitimate government is a government that got into power through mindless rigging. It is a Government that bribed INEC officials to manipulate election results in his favor.

It is a Government that bribed security agencies to overlook the activities of thugs going about on election day, maiming and disenfranchising potential voters of his political opponents. It is a government that bribed judges to deliver judgement in his favor at the election tribunals and supreme court.

It is a government that even though on the day of his swearing in, people are still not regarding him as their president. He won the election but he didn't win the hearts of the people. Such a Government will have a great moral burden to fight societal vices because he assumed offices via corrupt means.

Such a government can't be able to condemn and fight kidnapping because he assumed power by kidnapping of INEC officials and forced them to falsify election results in his favor. Such a government can't fight armed robbery because he used armed thugs to rob someone of his electoral victory.

Such a government can't fight Terrorism because he used thugs to unleash terror like terrorists on innocent citizens on the election day. Such a government can't fight unknown gunmen because he used unknown armed thugs to unleash terror on innocent voters. There is no difference between such a government, bandits, Yahoo boys, Boko boys and Unknown gunmen.

Such a government lacks the moral right to arrest Yahoo boys because he also assumed power through a fraudulent means. He is the biggest Yahoo city boy in town. Such a government lacks the moral right to condemn or arrest anyone engaging in violent behavior and thuggery because his government emerged through violence and thuggery. Such a government is the patron of thugs and disturbers of the society.

It is obvious that crime, violence, thuggery, kidnapping, frauds, bribery, corruption,killings, terrorism, banditry, drug trafficking, intimidation, official recklessness and wrongdoings will reign supreme in a society where its government emerged via a corrupt means. If you don't want to live and train your children in such a society , stop supporting an individual who won an election via a very corrupt means because the consequences of having such a government in power will rest on the ordinary people.
