IN THE OLDEN DAYS, LIFE WAS SO EASY. THE IGBO LIVED COMMUNAL LIFE. IGBOS ARE SIMPLY THE BEST. THE IGBOS BELIEVE THAT THEY RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS
In the olden days, life was so easy. The Igbo lived communal life.
An amazing picture of Ndi Igbo building house collectively for one another free. In the olden days, life was so easy. The Igbo lived communal life. When a man get to the age of ịpụ obi, his age grade would contribute in building house for him free. He will also do so to others.
There’s a sense in which same is practiced today. For e.g. in farming colab, traditional wedding support, akwamuzu, the Igbo apprenticeship system, etc. However, these practices ain’t as strong as they used to be. Jealousy and injustices are ruining them.
Is not jealousy and Injustice is western culture that we are forced to adapt to that's what is ruining them.
We're simply the best. We Igbos believes that we rise by lifting others! In my next generation I will still be an Igbo boy. We're exceptionally difference. God bless all my Igbo brothers & Sisters hustling outside d!a to make life better for themselves.
It is notable that the tradition of constructing homes by age cohorts without cost remains prevalent in various rural areas, particularly in those where the practice of building residences continues to thrive.
I will love to know more about how Igbos lived before colonisation.
