The pyramids in Sudan were built over a period of hundreds of years by a civilization known as the Nubians. The Nubians were initially conquered by the Egyptians and for centuries lived under Egyptian administration. After the Egyptian dynasties fell into dissaray, Nubia broke free and became its own empire, even conquering the Egyptians for a time. Throughout their history, the two societies maintained extensive trade and cultural ties, leading to the Sudan pyramids.

The Nubians/Kushites are contemporaries of the Kemites. The Egyptians ( Kemites) never conquered the “Unconquerable Kushites” although the dynasty of Sesostris captured significant territory within Kush she was still a force to be reckoned with. The Kushites were exceptional equestrians and capable sailors. Many Kushites mercenaries can be seen in Egyptian military conquests. The Kushites also domesticated and exported the donkey. The Kemites also held in high regard another African society known as Punt which was beyond the borders of Kush and located even further south in Africa proper.

Civilization and the pyramids in Sudan were built and existed long before those in Egypt. Egypt was colonized and built by Nubians from Sudan who also governed the territory and passed on its imperial and cultural heritage to Egypt. Egypt gained independence later on via infiltration or alliances with Arabic nations, Greece, Rome and etc who fought to destroy the Nubian regime and disperse the people to foreign lands.

Nubians are Egyptians before there was Egypt there was Nubia. After it split it became Lower Egypt (Arab, then Roman) and Upper Egypt (Still Nubia).. While foreigners plundered and destroyed lower Egypt for centuries, Nubia preserved most of its structures, and still the highest number of Pyramids.

Nubians have a distinct history and cultural identity compared to their Egyptian neighbors, which is evident in several aspects of their society.

Firstly, the pyramid structures in Nubia differ significantly from those found in Egypt. While both cultures utilized pyramids in their architectural designs, the Nubian pyramids are smaller, steeper, and have a unique style that sets them apart from their Egyptian counterparts.

Secondly, the Nubians have a separate language, which has evolved independently from the Egyptian language. This distinction highlights the separate cultural and historical development of the Nubian people.

Furthermore, it is essential to note that Nubians have controlled Egypt for centuries and have demonstrated incredible resilience in the face of invasions from various powerful civilizations, such as the Romans, Assyrians, and Arabs. Their ability to resist these invasions speaks to their strength and determination as a society.
