UPDATE: A SECTION OF PARENTS OF VH Public PRIMARY SCHOOL, LIRA CITY HAVE CALLED FOR INVESTIGATION OF THE CHAIRPERSON PARENTS AND TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION 

A section of parents of VH Public Primary School, Lira City have called for investigation of the chairperson Parents and Teachers’ Association, Regan Ongom who was awarded a contract to construct latrines at the school at a cost of 250 million shillings.
The investigation is on between Regan Ongom and the headteacher.

The parents argue that the move to award Regan Ongom the contract is not proper since he cannot be held accountable due to his position as chairperson PTA. Nelson Ongom Abura said the award of this contract was not within the law.

Geoffrey Onyeko Okwir another parent of VH Public Primary school said the school is faced with several challnegs that ned urgent Intervention. Regan Ongom said the contract was awarded to him after a resolution made by parents of the school.
