IT IS VERY UNFAIR AS ALL THE GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATES OF APC ESPECIALLY GOVERNOR SONWOLU OF LAGOS IS NOW MOVING ABOUT AS A POLITICAL ORPHAN

IT IS VERY UNFAIR.

After the presidential election that took place too weeks ago, I observed that the declared winner of the presidential election has abandoned all his party men contesting either as governors or state house of Assembly. What is happening? 

I expected the president-elect to use the euphoria of his electoral victory to campaign for his party members whom are contesting to become governors or state Lawmakers. But from the look of things, it seems the president-elect has retired in Defence House where he was moved into temporarily as the president-elect. The silence from him is deafening or us there another plan to rig the upcoming gubernatorial election as they rigged the presidential election?

I saw Peter Obi campaigning for his party men even when he supposed to be demoralized from the shambolic presidential election conducted by INEC. He was full of life and energy even as the masses continued to troop out to catch a glimpse of him. He is been celebrated as if he won the presidential election . From Benin to Asaba, Abia, Lagos and Jos, it is all about Peter.

IT IS VERY UNFAIR as all the governorship candidates of APC especially governor Sonwolu of Lagos is now moving about as a political orphan. Within the space of one week, Sonwolu has become jack of all trades. He is now a vulcanizer, dispatch rider , mechanic, phone repairer and he even hawked gala on traffic jam. Why should Tinubu abandoned him just like that ? Why should Tinubu also abandoned Omo Agege of Delta state to the extent he was attaching Peter Obi's picture on his campaign banners ? THIIS IS FAIRLY UNFAIR.

Can we say maybe the fight to retain the Certificate Of Return temporarily given to him is more important than engaging in further campaigns for gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections? Or can we say that his party's gubernatorial candidates told him not to show face to avoid angering voters the more? 

Well, since I was born and now that I am getting old, I have never witnessed a presidential election victory whereby the so called electoral victory is very bitter and the victorious candidate very restless and unsure of whether he will be sworn in as the next president of Nigeria or not.
